How does OverdraftMe verify what it publishes?

Primary sources, dated figures, an automated contradiction checker, and a correction policy. Here is the process.

Written and reviewed by John Pierre Saliba, Director and Senior Finance Broker, MFAA Accredited. Last reviewed 18 September 2026.

Every rate, threshold and claim on OverdraftMe is either drawn from primary sources (the ATO, the RBA, lender product pages) or from our own settlement records, dated at the point of publication, and re-verified on a schedule. This page explains how - and what to do if you find something wrong.

Who writes and reviews the content

All content is written and reviewed by John Pierre Saliba, Director and Senior Finance Broker, who has facilitated over $600 million in finance for hundreds of Australian businesses. OverdraftMe is a credit representative of Lend & Loan Pty Ltd (ACL 511092). MFAA Member. AFCA Member. Every page carries a visible "Last reviewed" date that changes only when the page substantively changes.

How figures are verified

Settlement data and case studies

Deal figures are as settled. Client details are anonymised - no client names, no lender names, no ABNs. Published settlements are a selection, not a complete record, and declined applications are excluded; the settlement data page states the methodology alongside the table and a downloadable CSV.

Calculators

Our calculators state their assumptions under the tool. The cost-to-hold view is interest-only with the balance held constant; the repay-over-term view uses declining-balance amortisation with interest recalculated on the outstanding balance. Neither is a quote.

How we are paid

OverdraftMe is paid a commission by the lender on settlement. The borrower pays nothing for the broker service. This is disclosed across the site and does not change which lender we recommend - lender selection is driven by fit to the borrower's profile.

Corrections

If you find an error - a stale rate, a wrong figure, a broken claim - email info@overdraftme.com.au. Verified errors are corrected on the page, and the "Last reviewed" date is updated. General information only; nothing on this site is financial advice.
