ANZ Declined Your Business Overdraft? Non-Bank Options Available

By John Pierre Saliba · April 2026 · OverdraftMe

Why ANZ declines business overdrafts

ANZ's GoBiz product offers unsecured overdrafts up to $200K, but requires accounting software integration (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) with 6+ months of reconciled data, plus minimum $75K annual turnover and a director who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Their traditional overdraft requires full financial statements, property security for larger amounts, and a more detailed credit assessment.

Common decline reasons

If ANZ declined you on accounting software data, non-bank lenders assess from bank statements instead - which many businesses find simpler and faster.
